The Federal Communications Commission has announced that it will accept applications for non-commercial educational FM stations (100 to 100,000 watts) during a 7-day filing window between Friday October 12 and October 19th. These applications have been frozen for the past 7 years and no one knows when there might be another opportunity in the future.

Perhaps the thought of having a church radio station sounds daunting. Let me encourage you. We are a small Reformed Baptist Church in rural Wyoming. We have been operating KFGR 105.3 FM for the past several years. You can listen to our live Internet stream at

At the time of our application we had neither experience nor resources, and God faithfully provided both (we are still learning).

Consider the false gospels and doctrinal error that are broadcast in your area. What a blessing it would be for God to raise up a Reformed radio network which would link many of our stations together with great preaching and programming.

There are only a little more than 20 weeks until the opening of the filing date. There is much that needs to be done immediately. Please make this a matter of church prayer.
